A recommendation from Peter Drescher:
21st Century Technology Teams:
A summer
institute for teams of educators to learn how students can use information
technology to master 21st century skills. Participants will:
Each team will “earn” information technology equipment ($900 worth per team
member—e.g., a three-person team would have $2,700 to spend). Teams will select
a package of equipment that will be donated to their school district for use in
their classrooms. Participants will have the opportunity use similar equipment
during the week and will decide at the end of the week which items they would
like to order. Participants may attend the institute as a “conference” or a
“course.”
