Editing the Body Text

The body of a forum topic is entered in the Body dialog box.  You will notice that it a few simple editing tools are available for you to use, as follows:

Highlighting Text

These button provide you with Bold and Italics. Select the text your want to highlight and then click either button to add the effect.

Hyperlinks

This button allows you to create hyperlinks, but if you type a full URL using http:// for web page addresses and email addresses, these will turn into links automatically.

Lists

These buttons allow you to either add either bulleted or numbered lists.

Add Image URL:

When you click on this icon, you will be prompted to enter a complete URL where the image is located. Type (or paste) this information and click OK.

Next, enter the "alternate text" identify the image and click OK.

The image appears in the Body Text dialog box. For example:

Toggle HTML Mode:

If you know HTML coding, you can edit the body text in HTML. This icon toggles back and forth between WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editing and HTML editing.

Change Block Type

You can change the size of the font by using the different HTML heading sizes. Note: The smaller the number, the larger the size.
