Side Bar Menu

After you have logged in to VTcite,  your account name and menu options are listed in the side bar located on the right side of your screen.  For example:

The options displayed under your account name allow you to manage your account.  With this menu, you can Create Groups, List the Groups you belong to, list or choose subscriptions, change your account settings, request a new forum to be created, or provide feedback.

Log Out

Notice that the log out command is located in the side bar.  Please remember to log out, especially if you visit VTcite on a public computer.  If you don't explicitly log out, the next time you point your browser to VTcite, you will notice that you will still be logged in.  

Side Bar Menus

The side bar menu is also used to display menu options that are available to you when you are using different features in VTcite.  For example, when you first log in and are on the home page, the Side Bar includes a list of a few of the most recent Forum topics that have been added to VTcite and upcoming calendar events.   For example:

Please note that the side bar menu will change depending on your current activity within VTcite.  It provides another tool for you to navigate within VTcite.
