Managing a group

The group manager is person who creates the group. When creating the group, you should consider the following subscription options:

• Do you want subscriptions requests to be automatically accepted? Or do you want this feature moderated, by invitation only, or completely closed? If you select closed, users will not be able to subscribe or unsubscribe.
• Should people be able to subscribe to this group during registration?
• Do you want your group to appear in the groups directory, or do you want this to be a private group and only visible by its subscribers?
