Description:
Blip TV is an alternative to YouTube and is also a web based resource where students can create their own "show" on the web. It can host movies as well as video podcasts. It is easy to use and works great! I have used it for two years.

What I like about blip.tv is the pro account ($90/yr - i use one account for a school) where you can control who views your videos; by embedding your videos to your website you know that that is the only place the public can access them. A little more private than youtube if your videos are of students.
