Intended Purpose: allows teachers and students to download or stream videos on topics connected to every topic imaginable. The possibilities are endless with Unitedstreaming because the video clips or full videos are ideal for differentiating instruction. Kids who need multisensory approaches to learning content can watch a video as a secondary source (or primary source). Video clips can be downloaded and put into multimedia presentations as well. Every video comes with teacher support materials as well as student support materials. There are pre and post video tests as well as vocabulary activities that support each video.

Intended Audience: All subjects and ideal for kids from kindergarten to 12th grade. Videos are categorized by grade level and subject matter.

Resource Requirements: (include, file type, platform, cost, user level, etc.) There is a large fee to use Unitedstreaming. For a school of about 200 students the cost is around 1000 dollars per year. They offer discounts for trial subscriptions. They also offer breaks for entire districts to subscribe to their service. A school needs to have cable or DSL connections to make the downloading convenient. In my school it takes me under 10 seconds to stream a video. It takes me two minutes to download a 20 minute video.
